Engagement?? The most question that we heard when we announced our engagement to our friends or relatives is "WHY WANT TO 'PLAY' ENGAGE? WHY DON'T STRAIGHT MARRIED? WASTE MONEY LA...AND BLA...BLA...BLA..."
Actually we wanted to set our engagement date on 16 Oct 2008 (our opinion: our meaningful date and we just wanted a simple engagement with only ring changing) but all chinese know that parents sure will go to look for 'sifu' to ask the suitable date plus ur parents only can come out from Brunei at the end of the year. So, no choice, we had to follow the rules to give up our date and followed the date that given by the 'sifu'.
